"I had a great time at the concert, primarily going for Iron and Wine and enjoying the Goo Goo Dolls show. Iron and Wine really impressed me with their energy and cool stage lights. The Goo Goo Dolls, who I've seen three times now, were fantastic as usual. They played some new songs from the really great album Magnetic, but I wish they had performed more of them. My favorite song, BulletproofAngel, was unfortunately not included in the setlist. It would have been amazing to hear it live. Overall, it was a fun concert experience!"

"I was so disappointed when Iron and Wine's concert was postponed until October from last spring. I must say that I live in Chapel Hill and thought attending on Thursday would be impossible because of my husband's work schedule. I went ahead and bought 2 tickets, hopeful that I could find someone to go with me. As it turned out, my husband was able to attend and we made it extra special by spending the night at the O Henry Hotel, being given a shuttle to and from the concert. The hotel was wonderful and the concert was also wonderful. I am always amazed that he has a regular cast of band mates which must seem like family to him. I am not sure of how many times I have seen Iron and Wine. I am hoping that Iron and Wine will come back to North Carolina in a year or two so I can once again see him. I must listen to him in my car every day and am a loyal fan. His new album "Time" is great and he incorporated 2 of his new songs into the concert. It is amazing to see Iron and Wine's scheduled tour and how hard he is working! I am so grateful that I was able to see him on October 17th. If Iron and Wine comes back to North Carolina, I plan to be there."

I had an idea for another tour--What about doing a Running on Empty/Late for the Sky show where the first half is all songs from Running on Empty and the second half is all songs from Late for the Sky? Take it Easy for the encore.
It might be a little long but it would probably make all of your boomer fans very happy. Based on the reviews on this site, many others would like to see this too. I would definitely spend another $100 to see this.
I have been a fan for more than 30 years like many others and seen at least 25 shows, but there are still songs I have never heard you play live.

I attended the Iron and Wine concert at Thalia Mara Hall in Jackson, MS on Wednesday, August 6, 2026, at 8 P. M. Both singers did an exceptional job at keeping the audience alive, and their band played outstanding as well. A young man named Kevin Ross opened for Iron and Wine. Iron and Wine wanted to walk from the stage unto floor to interact with the audience, but he was unable to due to explainable restrictions. He sung songs from most of his albums (Lifetime, This Woman's Work, Pretty Wings, Bad Habit, Stop the World, Sumthin' Sumthin', Ascension, etc.) and the song he collaborated with Alicia Keys (Fire We Make), which was amazing. The only thing that I did not like was that the venue did not set up well for the artist to connect with the audience. I really enjoyed how much that Iron and Wine sounded exactly like he sounds on his albums, his weird dance moves, and his sexy and funny commentaries. Alicia Keys was projected on a screen during her parts of the song, and she sounded like she was actually at the venue performing. Overall, I really enjoyed the concert.
